Sirona now offers inLab® users the ability to create superior in-house customized ceramic abutments. inLab 3D software now allows the design of both the restoration and mesostructure in one simple step. Included in the software is Sirona’s integrated implant database that holds the most widely used implant systems on the market. Users simply match the implant system with the correct TiBase™ set and inCoris™ ZI Meso block. Each Sirona TiBase kit includes an abutment screw, titanium base and scan body designed to fit most implant systems. The new Meso blocks are available in two shades and two sizes, and the final fabrication of the full-contour or cut-back restoration can be milled from feldspathic, glass ceramic or lithium disilicate materials.
The expanded line of materials also includes inCoris™ TZI, full-contour translucent zirconia blocks. inCoris TZI blocks are indicated for full-contour crowns, bridges, and screw-retained implant crowns. Made of solid zirconia with no porcelain overlay, the blocks are virtually chip-proof and are ideal for patients when PFM with metal occlusal or full-cast restorations are not an option. The new zirconia restorations have a flexural strength of 950 MPa (+/- 50) and because the material is made with a monolithic composition, the absence of layered materials makes the new zirconia blocks extremely strong and durable.
Create physical models directly from digital impressions from CEREC® Connect. The new in-house model milling capabilities of Sirona inLab® MC XL enable rapid design and milling of physical models in a matter of minutes. Once milled, models can be pinned and mounted to a quadrant or full arch articulator.
